In addition to corn, grain sorghum, and soybeans, a number of other grain and oilseed crops currently produced in the U.S. could be used as bioenergy and bioproduct resources including wheat, barley, oat, rye, sunflower, safflower, and flaxseed (table 1). Current uses for these crops are principally food and livestock feed.
