Miscellaneous Other Urban Wood Wastes
Printer Friendly

In addition to municipal solid waste (MSW) and construction and demolition (C&D) waste, other potential sources of urban wood wastes include those generated from the maintenance of municipal parks, utility line and right-of-way maintenance, urban land clearing, residues from commercial nurseries and landscapers, etc. Data is very limited and out-of-date. Additionally, much of the material is landfilled or generated by land clearing and may be accounted for in the estimated MSW and forest residue quantities.
