Other removals

A term in forestry designating unutilized wood volume from cut or otherwise killed growing stock, from cultural operations such as pre-commercial thinning, or from timberland diversion to other uses, such as to crop land, roads, urban development, parks, etc. It does not include timber volumes removed from the forest inventory due to reclassification of timberland as productive reserved forest land.
